I had never driven up alpine loop, and although all the leaves were already gone my friend decided to take me through it. We saw some deer and walked around cascade springs. We saw quite a few brown trout, very exciting. At one point we got out and it was absolutely silent, no birds, nothing. It was really peaceful. I'll miss how pretty Utah is.

One of my absolute favorite places this time of year. You should Oregon when the leaves change. Wow!
